Garlic chives, locally known as Kucai (also spelled Kuchai), is a leafy green herb widely used in Asian cooking.

Unlike common onion chives which are hollow and round, garlic chives have flat, solid, strap-shaped leaves. They possess a distinct garlic-like aroma and taste, though it is much milder than actual garlic cloves.

It's often used in dishes like Char Kway Teow or stir-fried with eggs, as a flavorful garnish for soups (like miso or porridge) and savory pancakes.

This is also rich in vitamins A, C, and K, as well as folate, calcium, and dietary fiber.

It's packed at approximately 50g in weight.
